Accomplished, efficient, friendly

Remy has been immersed in grassroots promotion since her mid-teens – she’s since upgraded from Social Club basement shows and indie ‘zines to the position of Assistant Operations Manager at the iconic Bath live venue Moles. Little is out of Remy’s remit; earning her stripes in the local scene has earned her a wide skill set, on top of close connections with artists and events professionals alike. Her exceptional Artist Liaison expertise earned her a place on a panel at Music Venue Trust Venues Day 2018 where she discussed wastage and artist welfare issues surrounding hospitality riders.

Remy is also committed to making events safe and accessible. She has been instrumental in establishing the #NeverOK anti-harassment campaign across venues in Bath, as well as introducing an ‘Ask For Angela’ system in Moles. As a member of the LGBTQA+ community, Remy spearheaded an annual week of Pride events there starting in 2019, in addition to increasing inclusivity within the venue with measures such as gender-neutral bathrooms. Working with charity Attitude Is Everything, she had Moles fully assessed for accessibility concerns and has now implemented a full accessibility statement, easily available free PA tickets and staff training (including a BSL crash course) in conjunction with Midas Security.
